Before making travel arrangements

Start with assessment and a written proposal. Understand your treatment location, required appointments, recovery arrangements and the possibility of a longer stay before buying travel.

Consultations that fit your time zone

When consultations open, appointments will show both your local time and Sri Lanka time. A coordinator call will be clearly distinguished from a consultation with a clinician.

Understand the full cost

Ask for an itemised quote and clarification of the billing currency. GBP estimates should identify conversion assumptions. Include flights, insurance, a companion if needed and possible additional accommodation in your own budget.

Insurance and unexpected changes

Ask your insurer in writing whether planned treatment, complications, additional care and evacuation are covered. General travel insurance may exclude these costs. Treatment and travel plans should allow for cancellation or a clinical decision to defer.

Follow-up after you return

Confirm which reviews are remote, whether in-person care has been arranged in your home country, and who pays for it. Ceylora has not yet confirmed local aftercare providers in the United Kingdom. These arrangements must be explicit in your final plan.
